A rare setup in the music world, Duo Telluur brings together the mellow sounds of English horn and classical guitar. This album comprises a selection of works that the ensemble has returned to and admired during its five years of playing together, and the works make up a kind of mosaic of evening thoughts and moods. Evening Mosaic seeks to portray the calming down of the ending day, the tender mystery of twilight moments and the nostalgia of recollections. The night is falling, its magical atmosphere draws you in more and more, you disappear in reveries and end up waltzing in the light of Evening star with your sweet memories and poetic dreams.

DUO TELLUUR is an Estonian ensemble, established in 2015 by young professional musicians, searching for new ways to musically express themselves. Heli Ernits (oboe / English horn) and Kirill Ogorodnikov (classical guitar) were inspired by the compatibility of the timbres of their instruments and boldly embarked on a journey with no set repertoire, to explore new and fresh compositions and notable findings written for other ensembles. The duo has worked together with several Estonian and international composers. They have by 2020 performed across Estonia, and also in Russia, Germany and Italy. The name of Duo Telluur comes from the chemical element Tellurium, which is silver, rare and delicate just like the unique acoustic sound of the ensemble.
